We went to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, as my father's gift he was picking up the tab so I felt the courage to order the LOBSTER and potato langostino! At aprox $22, I thought this was going to be a melt in your mouth experience... The waitress even showed me the LIVE lobster before cooking it... I really enjoy their hot fresh cheesy biscuits they serve before bringing your dinner (at least I think they're cheesy herbed). My husband ordered the plate that came with shrimp, scallops langostino and chose rice... My father ordered chicken linguini and my son went for the usual crab legs... The plates came with sides, I had the house salad with your cukes, tomatoes, lettuce... a decent portion NOT big bowls but not small bread and butter plates either... my father had the slaw which to his taste and to mine looked like it needed more dressing, so the waitress brought him more on the side, that was no problem... The problem was my husband langostino was a bit rubbery, which I'm aware gets like that when over cooked. We were surprised with the large size scallops and how TENDER they were, usually it's the scallops, that are always on the chewy side when ordering it at other places but these were actually very soft, melt in your mouth, yummy! My father's linguini was good but he also complained about the chicken being on the chewy side and my son's crab legs were good, at least that's what he said... When the waitress came by to ask how it was, my husband told her about the langostino and she apologized, took his plate and brought him another, it was much better BUT now the shrimp was over cooked! As for my LOBSTER it was a disappointment too... it was also rubbery! I told them about it when leaving the bill but still ate it that way and my langostino stuffed potatoe was covered outside with rock salts, it was ok but if not picked right you could get an over powering salty taste... I was hungry and I usually just eat what's in front me (unless really really grossed out with it)... Don't like the waiting of having it done all over again... AND do you ever feel like you're just nick picking so much that maybe the cooks or waiters, may spit or something in your food when they bring it back to you? LOL just not much of a good complainer, my husband on the other hand, left the rest of his food but the manager did come out and gave him (2) $10 coupons, to discount from the bill, which compensated for the disappointment... Too bad, this place should be 5 star in cooking FISH especially, LOBSTER, when they call themselves Red Lobster and charging so much for it! Gave them a 3 star for good service and the tasty food, it didn't TASTE BAD, it was just over cooked... =(

I always order broccoli when I'm at Red Lobster so I don't feel so horrible about eating something that is fried and salty. What can I say? It makes me feel better somehow. I always ask for it cooked soft so the little green things don't get so stuck in my teeth. The problem is that the broccoli that I receive has been indeed cooked soft, but it is served to me cold. So cold that when I ask for butter it won't even melt. Cooked broccoli should be served hot - always!

Every once in awhile I crave food from major chains like Red Lobster and Olive Garden. I'm usually not super impressed but it is what it is. I think if Olive Garden is synonymous with pasta with an oily cheese sauce, Red Lobster is synonymous with butter!! You can avoid it of course, but even the rice and veggies are cooked with tons of butter. Luckily I love butter :) Our server, Derek B, was awesome!! Totally on point. Not a hoverer, but not an ignorer, either. Checked on us after each dish and made sure our drinks were filled and was pleasant to boot. Service is always a gamble, so it's nice when it's really good. I'd give an extra half star if I could for his level of service alone. The new sweet chili shrimp app is really good!!! Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon for this app and everyone does it slightly different. The batter on this shrimp is really good but I was surprised they didn't add a cream element like most restaurants do (like an Asian sweet/spicy mayo sauce). But it's really good just the same. I would get it again. The salmon was really good. The skin was still on it which I LIKE! Good source of calcium, I hear. I should've left it just grilled though because the lemon sauce was just too much. I like a more delicate flavor and this was just kind if overpowering and just very fatty. I'm not sure why I was surprised :). And as mentioned, the rice and the broccoli were both very buttery. It was a little much and I LOVE butter. The Portofino Bake... Other people might enjoy it, but I'm not a fan of artichokes/sundries tomatoes. Or mussels. It's a novel idea for a chain, though. And a but less butter (haha) would do some good. It was served with a good artisan bread.... But after eating cheddar bay biscuits (which those seemed to have changed since last time I was there!) who wants the bread? All in all, it was A-OK. Not mind blowing and not terrible... If you've seen those "Honest Tag Lines" for chains, I think Red Lobster's would be something like, "Come Eat Some Butter!" :)

Until I frequented this location, I believed I had not liked red lobster but this place was top notch! From entering the location, to all other points of service... my experience at this red lobster was phenomenal. I especially loved the Pina colada with the side car of amaretto and their coconut shrimp! I would definitely go again, and recommend to anyone.

Wow! This dinner went beyond my expectations! Every aspect of my dinner was perfect. It was my birthday and I wanted lobster, honestly- I was planning on going to more of a "nicer" restaurant, but with the storms in New England, all of the other restaurants were out of Maine Lobster. I was a bit worried that Red Lobster would meet my expectations, but I called, they said they had lobster, so I begrudgingly decided to eat here with 10 of my closest friends and family. Boy, am I glad that I did- I walked in and said I need a table for 10, then sat at the bar for 10 minutes and voila! My table was ready. The waitstaff bent over backwards and were wonderful. We all ordered drinks and sat and chatted, our server never pushed us to order, but was there often enough to let us know he was there when we needed him. We finally decided to order and shortly after our appetizers appeared, and they were all delicious. For my main, I order a 3-pound lobster, and boy was it good! Everybody at the table loved their meals- some had lobster, others fish and some had chicken. No complaints, everybody actually raved about how good the food was. I do not like to make a big deal of my birthday, and my friends made sure to let the staff know that fact, so no waiters singing. The restaurant did, however, know it was my birthday, and brought me a very large piece of cake with ice cream, which was above and beyond. I will never begrudge Red Lobster again, it is indeed a great place for a meal anytime, but I will say this- it IS a "nice" establishment worthy of a special occasion.

I came here with my son, daughter-in-law, and wife. It was a very busy day, I ordered a lobster fest platter. Man it was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Matt, kept us properly hydrated. My favorite drink here is the Bahama Mama. I caution you, you should only have one. It has been my experience that the service at Red Lobster is always very good, the staff is very helpful and courteous. They are always on top of things. I would recommend this location to anyone that wants a nice seafood meal and salad, cocktail or two or maybe a glass of wine. Remember this is not a locally owned restaurant so some of the local seafood feel is not there. Enjoy.

My cousin was visiting from California and really wanted to visit Red Lobster, since they don't have them out West. She said she missed the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The biscuits never disappoint, but the rest of the meal certainly did. I ordered the Hand-Battered Fish and Chips, and I could have used the fish as a door stop, it was so over-cooked. The battered part was totally inedible, and the fish I managed to scrape out of it was dry and chewy. My cousin ordered the Ultimate Feast, and while she said the lobster tail and crab legs were "okay", she had the same over-cooked/over-fried issue with her shrimp, and found it completely inedible, describing it as "horrible". When we complained to our server, the only offer was to bring us new dishes, but we both said "no thanks!" and asked for a dozen biscuits to go at no charge, which they complied with. The reputation of Red Lobster has really suffered over the years, and with this experience I can see why. It's such as shame as this was once one of my favorite restaurants.

As far as chain restaurants go, This Red Lobster location was quite pleasant to go to. I came here with two other people and a toddler. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. Food was good and tasted fresh (for a chain restaurant). The clam chowder was a little watery and bland. It was quite busy when we arrived but the wait time was acceptable. Overall a good experience. I'd come back or consider visiting another Red Lobster if I wasn't in the area of this one.

Wow. I walked in and felt like the staff was glad to see me and my group of 3. It's Saturday night and yet we were seated right away. Ryan came to the table right away, took our drink order and returned in the blink of an eye. Our food came to the table hot and attractively plated. The entire meal was most enjoyable. Ryan did a wonderful job taking care of us. I felt from the moment we arrived I noticed that the restaurant seemed very well run and the staff well trained and happy to be there.

I wouldn't normally bother reviewing a chain restaurant like this, but my experience tonight had to be reviewed. They are having their endless shrimp promotion right now and they apparently were completely unprepared for it. It took about 20 minutes for the second round of shrimp to come out and even then, only one person got their order. By the time everyone got their food, we were ready to leave. Plus, the food was definitely not good enough to warrant the wait or price. I just remembered why I never go here.

Some family members and I ate dinner here a little bit more than a week ago. The restaurant was very crowded, so I wasn't sure how the meal and service would be, but everything was very good. I chose the four-course meal, which consisted of a soup (I had the New England clam chowder; good stuff!), a Caesar salad (I ate every bite), a pasta with Cajun-flavored sauce and chicken, and a slice of Key Lime Pie. This was a lot of food and I had to take approximately half of the pasta and my entire slice of pie home with me. For the price (I think my meal was somewhere between $12-$15 ... don't recall), it was well worth the trip. My dining companions seemed to love everything they ordered - if I remember correctly, pretty much everyone else ordered something from the "Lobsterfest" menu, which has a lot of lobster and related (scallops, etc.) items on it. My brother-in-law seemed to eat everything that he ordered, which was a lot of food, so it must've been very good. I didn't hear any complaints, so everyone, I'm assuming, was pleased. Our server did an admirable job despite the restaurant being very crowded. We were attended to by at least one other server, who helped out while our primary server was helping others. The teamwork is noted and appreciated. I've never had a complaint about any of my visits here (we usually stop by once or twice per year, and have been doing so for a long time) and will continue to come back.

Went on Sunday night, staff was nice. food was good, price "is what it is", but I just miss the days of Red Lobster being a dimly lit with nice music softly playing in background fancy restaurant. now its loud rock music and babies crying near so it's like for these prices I can go to Park Ave.

We somehow managed to get to a Red Lobster at a time when they are not offering their endless shrimp or other specials. Still they were crowded and offered some other decent deals, such as 2 dinners for $25. The food was good, prices reasonable and the place was packed on a Saturday night. Service was particularly attentive, but without rushing us to clear a table for the waiting line. Not bad overall for a chain.....but so many local seafood options are available in Florida that there is no need to seek a national chain.

The same gentleman has been greeting us for years at lunchtime. Where does he get his happy pills? His enthusiasm is truly contagious and a great beginning for a meal. As a franchise style establishment, they seem to rely heavily on frozen product even though fresh seafood from the area is abundant. Our calamari appetizer was delicious and of course the fresh biscuits are amazing.

This probably goes down as one of the worst dinner services I have ever had at an upscale dining establishment (and much to my dismay I expected better). Oh where do I begin...? Let's start with the moment my companion and I walked in and asked for a table. The main seating area looked half empty, and the hostess went ahead, gave us a pager and told us about a 5-10 minute wait. It honestly did not look at all busy as there were plenty of empty tables and booths from our perspective, so we were quite dumbfounded with having to wait and being given a pager. After about a 7 minute wait, they paged us for a table, and the hostess then immediately sat us at a booth table at pretty much the southwest corner of the restaurant, far away from the main dining area, the center bar and kitchen. Not a good sign of things to come... Drinks, cheddar bay biscuits and salads were brought to our table at a surprisingly timely and courteous manner. But the wait for the main course was brutally long, almost 40-45 minutes! (I ordered a sirloin & shrimp combo and my companion ordered a jumbo shrimp dish). Even the table next to us endured a longer wait for their meals, and they already vented their frustration to their server who happens to be the same server for our table. When we finally got our foods, I noticed the kitchen put in mashed potatoes when I asked for roasted vegetable for my side. Our server completely forgot, apologized and promised to come back with the vegetable side. Now get this... the server did not come back with the veggie side until 25 MINUTES LATER! Can you believe that?! Twenty five minutes! And this is the best part, she came back with the dish and said to me, "I'm so sorry about that. Our kitchen got backed up." Ma'am, how do you expect me to believe that when your dining area isn't even close to full service? The last thing I wanted to hear from the poor server's mouth was a lame excuse to honor a simple request from a customer. That just got me disgusted. So Red Lobster, you have unfortunately disappointed me this time after being a loyal customer of yours for many years (I even have a multitude of your gift cards from my CC company because of how I like your food and service but now I regret doing so). No wonder the Darden stock has dropped lately because of poor service from Red Lobster and their way of treating customers and their own employees. Unless you start polishing up your act and train your employees to treat the customers right and give them what they want, I'll never go back to your sorry of an upscale restaurant again.

I go here a few times per year for the Endless Shrimp and occasionally other specials. I've never met an employee that hasn't been less than amazing! They're always friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. They are a chain seafood place, so don't expect the best of the best in anything, but they do what they do better than I could ever hope to expect!

My husband and I dined here tonight on a whim. Joining us at our table, well actually under our table, was a very chatty cricket. We knocked our feet against the wall to quiet the little bugster which worked the majority of the time. By the end of our meal the cricket had learned to fear us and we learned to never come back to Red Lobster. It had been over five years since we went to Red Lobster. I remembered their cheesy biscuits quite fondly and decided it was time to revisit this seafood place. We had some fun and the servers were nice. But the highlight of the meal? The biscuits and caesar salad were definitely the best parts. I couldn't finish my entree of salmon and shrimp. Eating at Red Lobster reminds me of Bahama Breeze: Frozenville. I guess I am past liking this stuff. I'd rather just eat (better) at home. Sorry, lobs. Things just aren't the same between us and maybe that's not your fault.
Good value, good service, good food. Considering this is a chain it is a cut above the rest, particularly good biscuits. We now only use the Altamonte springs branch as the Waterford branch has consistently disappointed with poor service.

I came here on a nice Sunday night thinking the staff was going to be in a hurry to close and go home sense it is Sunday, no the staff was very friendly and they got a table pretty quick even though we were only three they seemed to be pretty busy. The waiter came quick and took care of us and was very polite and very understanding of our need for drinks and bread sense we were hungry, he took our order and was great and got everything we needed through out our visit. The food was pretty good and fresh and the bread was delicious, i can say my experience this time was better then last time. The best part was the service was really good and everything was perfect, I was pretty happy when i left and even left the waiter a good tip for a well done job. I gave it four stars only for it still being so expensive and with this economy people are looking for more bargains and they had no specials going on at this time unlike last time. Most of the time they have such specials as the all you can eat shrimp or other specials that make the meal a bit more worth the money.

Solo dinner at 8:30@PM at the bar. I ordered the wood grilled lobster, shrimp, and scallops with baked potato/ butter sour cream and Caesar salad add tomatoes minus croutons. The salad arrived fairly quickly and biscuits arrived 2 minutes after. They were hot and fresh! The lettuce was crisp, and the tomatoes were ripe but they only served 4 small slices. The grated cheese seemed a bit old. When the meal arrived I was informed after asking, that they were out of the large lobster tail and they substituted out for two small tails. I was not told prior. The small tails were tough due to the fact the entire entrée was grilled which tends to dry out seafood anyway and with thinner pieces of meat in the small tails, well... The tails were accompanied by 6 shrimp and 4 scallops. The broccoli was yellow in some spots. Everything was grilled ok but the butter was not hot. I asked for another one that was, and it was still not hot. She took it back and micro-waved it and it came back watery. So I skipped the butter. All in all it was a big disappointment. I generally enjoy Red Lobster but this store leaves me wanting more from this chain.
